Report Writer is a reporting tool available via Research Management System (RMS). Report Writer draws data from RMS in response to criteria specified by the user. Reports generated from Report Writer inform colleges, departments, and research administrators of research proposal and award activity and provide insight into the sponsored research landscape of university entities and individuals.

The RMS Report Writer User Guide is intended to support the research administration community of the College of Natural Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin by providing information and instructions for using the Report Writer module within RMS, the University’s grant management database. This guide assumes a foundational knowledge of research administration and a working knowledge of RMS.
