The Broader Impacts (BI) section of NSF proposals addresses how your research will benefit society and contribute to the achievement of specific, desired societal outcomes. The six-step guide below helps you draft an impactful BI plan for your proposal, based on resources and strengths unique to the College of Natural Sciences (CNS) and your research group.
