We build inclusive communities that help students acclimate and navigate the university to reach their academic and personal potential at UT and beyond.
The Diversity and Student Programs (DSP) unit is comprised of most of the Undergraduate Student Success Programs, the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Office (DE&I), and the Admissions Office for the Undergraduate (AOU) Division of the College of Natural Sciences.
In seeking a culture that fosters diversity, equity, and inclusion, our efforts include the following programs:
- Cornerstones Communities - Cornerstone communities provide a tight-knit academic community through which students with like interests connect and gain a sense of belonging as they pursue their college pathway.
- DE&I Office - The DE&I office provides services and support to deepen a culture where all students are valued, known, and respected for who they are and what they will become.
- Undergraduate Admissions Office - The Undergraduate Admissions Office recruits a diverse class of prospective students who desire to pursue STEM majors and informs them about the many opportunities the college offers to help them thrive.
