FRI has fully integrated the research and educational communities at The University of Texas at Austin and has great potential for industry collaboration and integration. In fact, the FRI platform is structured to blur the line between teaching and academic and industry research.
There is incredible potential for customized research streams that allow industry partners to collaborate with research faculty to develop streams that address a common research goal while impacting, training and potentially recruiting future scientists.
We eagerly anticipate the participation of innovative industry leaders. FRI has already begun to partner with interested companies willing to provide research internships for our trained and vetted students.
