What are your favorite places to eat, hangout and study?
One of the best things about coming to Austin is being surrounded by all the great places to eat! Some of my favorite restaurants are Hopdoddy’s Home Slice, and Papalote. I also enjoy exploring all the coffee shops in the Austin area, you can always find me studying/hanging out at Flightpath or Mozart's. If I’m on campus, I’ll most likely be in the Union, SAC, or the Life Sciences Library!
One piece of advice for incoming transfer students:
Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there! UT can be overwhelming at first, but branching out to different student organizations is one way to make new friends and develop connections. The university offers countless opportunities for students to get involved in research, student organizations, and in work. Make sure to take advantage of these opportunities!

I love to eat at Hula Hut, Chuys, Hopdoddy, and Pluckers. I enjoy exercising at Town Lake and relaxing at Zilker Park. You can find me studying on campus at either the Mallet Chemistry library or the Life Science library.
One piece of advice for incoming transfer students:
Always stay positive and give yourself time to adjust. UT offers so many exciting opportunities to make you feel at home, and don’t be afraid to jump right in and get involved. Approach each day with a glass-half-full mentality and never look back at your decision.

What are your favorite places to eat, hangout and study?
Mozart’s Coffee is my favorite place to eat, hang out, and study! It has a breath-taking view of Lake Austin, always smells like roasting coffee, and has really good pastries. I love to study there to get a change from the normal scenery of the libraries on campus.
One piece of advice for incoming transfer students:
Go to the football games! The school spirit at games is infectious, inspiring, and is what first made me feel like I was part of the Longhorn community.

What are your favorite places to eat, hangout and study?
We have time to hangout?? I have a coffee addiction and I study too much, so I spend the majority of my time at Bennu or Monkey's Nest because their coffee/snacks are amazing and they are open 24/7
One piece of advice for incoming transfer students:
Become comfortable with being uncomfortable. You have a chance to redefine yourself. Make the most of it! Take risks, talk to people, and never, ever let a class make you panic.
LAMBERT

What are your favorite places to eat, hangout and study?
K-Bop on Guadalupe is a fun place for lunch that is always playing Korean pop music. The SAC or PCL commons is where I hangout with friends there's always a table or set of chairs available. And I like to study at Cafe Medici on the Drag or the Norman Hackerman Building Patio (NHB) is a nice place to study outdoors.
One piece of advice for incoming transfer students: Embrace the new adventures and opportunities that UT Austin has to give.
