Concentration in Teaching and Mentoring

The college offers a free curriculum for graduate students and postdocs interested in learning to teach and mentor effectively. These courses will allow grads/postdocs to expand their knowledge and experience in teaching and mentoring undergraduates beyond what is typically gained from a TA experience. Postdocs who complete the concentration will earn the CNS Graduate Concentration in Teaching and Mentoring

Concentration in Communicating Science

In partnership with the Moody College of Communication, postdocs can participate in a free semester-long experience designed to hone their ability to effectively describe their research to various audiences.

Concentration in Leadership and Project Management

We offer two free courses through the McCombs School of Business that enhance the leadership abilities of participants. Postdocs can earn the concentration by completing Leading People and Organizations and Strategic Management.
