Please join the “Landing an Academic Job” panel on Tuesday, July 19th at 3-4:15pm over zoom.  Hear from UT Austin PhD alumni who recently landed a faculty position. Panelists will discuss how to navigate the academic job search, and how to pick the higher education institution that fits your scholarly profile and preferences. Panelists will also discuss their experiences with onboarding, relocating and how to handle financial holdovers between graduation and starting the job. This event will consist of a 55-minute panel discussion followed by 20 minutes of Q & A from the audience.  The panelists are:

·       Dr. Da Hei Ku – Assistant Professor of Childhood Education at the University of Massachusetts – Boston

·       Dr. Jared Fisher – Assistant Professor of Statistics at BYU

·       Dr. Caitlin Andrews-Lee – Assistant Professor of Politics and Public Administration at Toronto Metropolitan University

·       Dr. Malgorzata (Gosia) Chwatko – Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Kentucky
