“Legged and legless: the story of lizard evolution”

Britt White (Ecology, Evolution and Behavior Graduate Program)

Have you ever wondered why some lizards are called anoles, skinks, or whiptails? Or have you never heard these names? We will dive into the basics of identifying local lizards, what lizards are, what they aren’t, and why researchers like me study them!

Science Under the Stars has gone virtual! This semester all SUTS activities will be online, but they encourage you to participate outdoors under the stars in your backyard! (If wifi allows for it, of course.)

Please note that for this event, both the lecture and Q&A will be live and recorded. Here’s the schedule for this month’s event:

Location: On Zoom
