Our February Postdoc/Grad Student Professional Development Seminar, Grant Writing and Research Development - An Insider's Perspective, will be held on Tuesday, February 18th, from noon-1pm in NHB 1.720.  You will hear from Dr. Jennifer Lyon (PhD Chemistry) who is the Director of Strategic Research Initiatives in the College of Natural Sciences.  Jennifer steers interdisciplinary collaborations and team science efforts, and leads the development of large, multi-million dollar center grants and training grants for groups of faculty both within and beyond the College.

Jennifer will draw from her own experience and training in research development, and will share some of what she has learned from 7 years of work in this field.  But she is open to hearing from you!  If you have questions about careers in research development, or questions about grant writing strategy - please email them to: a.tibbs@austin.utexas.edu.
