WELCOME!
About Us
Our Mission:
The Mathematics, Physics, & Astronomy (MPA) Advising Center strives to provide a sensitive, welcoming, and supportive environment for students. It is our objective to optimize students' success and assist them in reaching their academic, professional, and personal goals by providing quality guidance for Mathematics, Physics and Astronomy degree planning and by serving as a referral resource for career and student life concerns.
Who we see:
We advise students who have successfully completed the introductory mathematics, physics, and astronomy sequence. First year and entry level MPA majors are advised in the Center for First-Year Advising. Students pursuing the Bachelor of Science in Mathematics: Teaching Option are advised by the UTeach advisor. We are happy to help students with questions about MPA UT course prerequisites.
Available Year-Round:
Students are strongly encouraged to make an appointment in advance and come in early each semester to avoid the registration rush!

Our virtual front desk hours via ZOOM are 8:30-11:30am, 1:00-3:00pm, 4:00-4:30pm.
