Are you interested in participating in research abroad and becoming part of the global STEM community?

Science students can do research abroad and in many cases get UT credit for their participation. If you're interested in this option, seek assistance and advice from these on-campus resources:

  1. Talk to an advisor at the Eduation Abroad Office. Some study abroad programs have a research component, and they can advise you on how to find the right one. See below for a list of CNS Premier Partners with research opportunities.
  2. Talk to your professors. If you are already doing research with a faculty member at UT, he or she may be able to help you find a faculty collaborator abroad.
  3. Talk to your departmental academic advisor about your options for course credit.
  4. Visit the university's site for research abroad.
  5. Set up an appointment with Timothy Myers, Senior Program Coordinator, PAI 5.33 to learn more about how to find and prepare for a research experience abroad.
