Dear Students,
I had a plan to write something about our amazing student services this week. And while we still have a dedicated staff that work tirelessly for CNS students, it seemed impossible not to write something this week about the election results.
First, this is a community that had a responsibility to one another before the election, and we have it now. This does not mean magically setting aside differences or ideals, but it means treating everyone with the respect they deserve.
Second, whether the election results have you elated or despondent, if you were inspired, excited, dedicated, and engaged to shape the future before the election you need to continue now after the election. You are the future and it is yours to shape.
