The Freshman Research Initiative takes to YouTube.
This month, first-year students in the College of Natural Sciences who are interested in joining one of the "research streams" in the Freshman Research Initiative (FRI) are invited to drop into the labs to check out what's going on.
And everyone (first-years, prospectives, parents, veterans, alumni, the world at large) is invited to watch the short, often rather strange videos that have been made by students in each stream to introduce their research program.
The Freshman Research Initiative (FRI) in the College of Natural Sciences offers first-year students the opportunity to advance academically while doing cutting-edge, original, publishable research in chemistry, biochemistry, nanotechnology, molecular biology, physics, astronomy and computer sciences.
