Dear Students,
The end of the semester is sooner than you think. Classes are more than halfway finished, and things always seem to move faster toward the end than they did at the beginning. (Especially for the seniors who are going to graduate!) So I have only a couple of quick messages.
Keep up the great work. Stay on top of your courses. Take advantage of the myriad of enrichment opportunities in the coming weeks, especially the Undergraduate Research Forum on April 17th.
And now a special announcement about deadlines (especially for those who are going to graduate).
Tomorrow, Monday April 6th is a key deadline for a number of academic issues.
It is the last day to
- Drop a course
- Change grade status of a course (you must have 30 hours credit to be eligible for change to pass/fail)
- Withdraw from all of your courses (must be completed at CNS Student Div.)
Any of these can be done at your advising center or the CNS Student Division, WCH 1.106. Be sure to bring a picture ID.
And most importantly it is the last day to apply to graduate. This can be done online:

You have to apply to graduate. It doesn’t just happen. You’d think that it would. But it doesn’t. So if you’d like to graduate this semester, please be sure to apply. Again: tomorrow, April 6th, is the LAST DAY.
