Report Calls for New Priorities in Breast Cancer Prevention

 

Environmental factors of breast cancer need to be a research priority, committee says.

Michele Forman, professor of nutrition in the College of Natural Sciences, co-chaired a government committee that recently published its findings on breast cancer and the environment. The report states that the environmental impacts that may cause breast cancer need to be made a research and funding priority, reported The New York Times.
