New Semester

New Semester

Dear Students,

I hope that everyone has had a great start to the new semester!  It has only been a week, but we are back and going strong.  Some of you are getting into the groove of your second semester at UT; while for some of you, this is your last semester at UT!   Whether this is your first spring, your last, or somewhere in between, we can all approach it with the best foot forward. There is nothing like a good start to have a great semester.

A new semester is like a new year.  It is a time to reflect on where you have been and where you’d like to go. Dump the bad habits.  Keep the good ones. Work every day to figure out what you need to do to succeed.  Not every class is the same.  Not every semester will be the same.  What worked perfectly last time around, might need some tweaking this year.  Don’t forget the key to success is hard work and effort.

Best,

-Dr. Vanden Bout

P.P.S.  Did you hear about the restaurant NASA is starting at the Moon? Great food, but no atmosphere.
