Event: A memorial service celebrating the life of Dr. Paul F. Barbara (1953 –2010), the Richard J. V. Johnson - Welch Regents Chair in Chemistry, sponsored by Barbara's family, the dean of the College of Natural Sciences, the chair of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, and the Center for Nano and Molecular Science and Technology.
When: Sunday, December 12, 11:00 a.m.
Where: Etter-Harbin Alumni Center, 2110 San Jacinto Boulevard, The University of Texas at Austin. Parking is located in the San Jacinto Parking Garage, 2401 San Jacinto Boulevard.
A reception will follow the service at the Alumni Center. Following the reception, guests are invited to attend an open house gathering at the Center for Nano and Molecular Science and Technology in the Larry R. Faulkner Nano Science and Technology Building.
