Dear Students,
When I sit down to write a weekly note to all of you, most of the time I look at the academic calendar, think about what happens for students at about this time of the semester, and then try to say something that I would have wanted said to me at that point in my career as a student. This task recently became a lot tougher. I was never a student during a pandemic that required widespread remote learning and social distancing. Neither were our faculty, advisors and support staff. You are having a unique experience, and navigating support, fun and challenges in different ways.
Getting insights from you would be a big help. So I'm inviting you to take a simple survey. It's just three questions, but your answers would give a really helpful peek right now into what it is you are experiencing, worrying about, or coping with and where the college can help. It will help us make some key decisions about the spring, so please—take three minutes (or one or five if you prefer) to let us know what's on your mind.
Take the Short Survey
Best,
Dr. Vanden Bout
