Finish Strong

Finish Strong

This Week's Messenger:

Dr. Michael Drew

Dear Students,

Here we are, just a few weeks from the end of a challenging academic year, and you are so close to the finish line!

To finish the semester strong and end on a high note, remember:

  • Register for summer and/or fall – if you haven't yet met with your advisor, selected your courses and registered, now is the time! This early registration period ends on Friday; aim to have a rough draft of your summer and/or fall schedules on the books by then.
  • Carve out time for yourself, even in the midst of all of your upcoming commitments and deadlines – the busier things get, the more critical it is to give yourself breaks, even if they are short.
  • Ask for help – whether that's office hours, tutoring, counseling or talking with your advisor about pass/failing a course. We are here to support you.
  • Show yourself some compassion – because, like all of us, you are doing the best that you can.
Whatever you do, believe in your ability to finish this semester successfully. I believe in you, and, from even my short time in this new interim role, I'm full of pride for the incredible work our students do every day. You've got this.

Sincerely,
Dr. Drew
