Distinguish Yourself

Distinguish Yourself

Dear Students,

This is your call for nominations.

CNS Distinctions are a way for the College to highlight all the remarkable things you as students do in entrepreneurship, research, service & leadership, and in the area of diversity, equity, & inclusion.

Nominations are open to all students, regardless of year in school, AND you can self-nominate! So take this opportunity to nominate:

  • Your friends who are too humble to nominate themselves
  • Your student org officer who makes a huge impact
  • Your peers who continually work to improve the world
  • Your coworkers who made amazing progress in your research lab
  • Yourself

On the Distinctions webpage you'll find more information about what it can look like to be distinguished in each area (though these lists are certainly not comprehensive). There is a link for nominations at the bottom of the page.

If selected, not only will you be able to bask in the glory of all your accomplishments that led up to this point, but you will also earn a pin to wear on your graduation regalia, your name in the graduation program as a distinguished graduate in your area, and an invitation to the Graduates of Distinction celebration hosted by Dean Goldbart the night before commencement.

Y'all are impressive in so many ways. Let's flood the selection committee with nominations.

Best,
Dr. Vanden Bout
