Before Spring Break

Before Spring Break

Dear Students,

There is that feeling in the air. The weather can't decide between rain or 85°F. It must be close to Spring Break.

First, it is not Spring Break yet! You have to wait until the end of the week to take off. It's only Monday. Keep studying. Knock out those mid-term exams. Finish those lab reports. Crank out more research data. Get ahead rather than putting everything off. Every bit you can get done now will be less that looms over you during the break.

Second, take advantage of the time off. This is a great opportunity to reflect on why you are at the University. Take the chance to sit and talk about what you are doing with someone else. Let them know what you are learning. Think about what you want to accomplish. Reflect back on what you have accomplished already. What has the experience been like (and how are you going to keep making it better?)?

Finally, have a good break. Have fun. Get some rest. Relax. Catch up on your work. And most of all, STAY SAFE. We want you all back for a strong finish to the spring semester.

Best,

Dr. Vanden Bout
