President Jay Hartzell will deliver his first State of the University address Thursday, February 4th, 2021, at 3:00 PM. As with everything over the past year, we’re doing things differently. The address will be released as an audio broadcast that can be streamed live, or downloaded for listening at your convenience. In the address, President Hartzell will reflect on UT’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and speak to his vision for making UT one of the nation’s very best public universities, characterized by excellence, academic freedom and diversity.
