Join the Department of Astronomy for live views of several deep-sky targets from the dark skies at McDonald Observatory, starting at 9:30pm Central time. Your host Stephen Hummel will show you views from a camera attached to a research-grade 16" telescope at the Frank N. Bash Visitors Center. It's galaxy season!

The targets, weather permitting, will be:
1. NGC 4631, or the "Whale Galaxy"
2. Barred spiral galaxy M109
3. Intermediate barred spiral galaxy M66 (pictured in thumbnail)
4. Merging galaxies NGC 4567 and 4568, or the "Siamese Twins"
5. Abell 1656, or the Coma Galaxy Cluster.
