McDonald Observatory’s Frank N. Bash Visitors Center continues to use the Internet to share the wonders of the Universe during this period of physical distancing.

 

Join us for our third livestream 'Star Party' on YouTube on Thursday, April 23 at 9:15 p.m. CDT. Host Stephen Hummel will show you views from a camera attached to a 16-inch telescope at our Frank N. Bash Visitors Center. The targets, new and weather permitting, will be globular cluster M3, comet C/2017 T2 (PANSTARRS), spiral galaxy M101 (the Pinwheel galaxy), and edge-on galaxy M104 (the Sombrero galaxy).
