Art in Science highlights the beauty of Natural Sciences, with demos, textiles and apparel displays and an exhibition of artwork submitted to the College of Natural Sciences' Visualizing Science competition. Discuss the story behind the eye-catching science with members of our community.

We will have a special guest speaker! UT Austin alum Melanie Connolly (BS Neurobiology 2009) will discuss her career in medical illustration and 3D animation.

There will also be:

• Sustainability designs from University Fashion Group
• Hands-on painting with the Microbe Hackers
• Woven sculpture from Dr. Luisa Gil Fandino of the Division of Textiles and Apparel
• Concept design boards from Merchandising & Consumer Science majors
• Rubens' Tube entertainment from Polymathic Scholars
• Door prizes
• Snacks including Dunkin Munchkins and Chick-n Minis
• Unveiling of the 2019 Visualizing Science winning submissions at 11:30
