Get hands-on experience “doing science” while building your resume and creating a product you can showcase to potential employers.

Science Sprints are fun, one-day intensive events bringing teams of 10-25 undergraduates together to work on a meaningful science problem. The first Sprint for the semester is on Saturday, January 27th.

Choose from two topics on Jan. 27th:

Sprint #1: Restoring the Waller Creek Ecosystem -  explore urban watersheds, collect samples from Waller creek, and analyze the samples for E. coli, macroorganisms, and the presence of nutrients.

Spring#2: Creating Dashboards for Student Success Data - work on data analysis and visualization projects using College of Natural Sciences institutional data

Go to Science Sprints for more information on the projects and to register.

All majors are welcome!
