Get hands-on experience “doing science” while building your resume and creating a product you can showcase to potential employers.
Science Sprints are fun, one-day intensive events bringing teams of 10-25 undergraduates together to work on a meaningful science problem. The first Sprint for the semester is on Saturday, January 27th.
Choose from two topics on Jan. 27th:
Sprint #1: Restoring the Waller Creek Ecosystem - explore urban watersheds, collect samples from Waller creek, and analyze the samples for E. coli, macroorganisms, and the presence of nutrients.
Spring#2: Creating Dashboards for Student Success Data - work on data analysis and visualization projects using College of Natural Sciences institutional data
