In this session, graduate students and postdocs will have the opportunity to learn about the academic job search from two CNS faculty members. The seminar will be focused on the research talk/chalk talk/interview portion of the academic job search.

David Taylor (Assistant Professor, Molecular Biosciences) was hired in 2016, and will share from his recent experience on the academic job market. Nancy Moran (Professor, Integrative Biology) will provide advice from the point of view of the hiring committee. There will be plenty of time for Q&A, so come with questions for these faculty members.

Pizza and drinks will be served, as usual.
