The January Grad Student/Postdoc Professional Development Seminar will focus on Research & Development careers in industry. This Industry Career Panel Discussion will feature panelists doing R&D in local companies. Each panelist will give a 5 minute presentation about their company and their work, and will take questions from the grad students and postdocs in attendance. Panelists include:

Dr. Susan Magdaleno (PhD Cell Biology, Baylor College of Medicine) - R&D Senior Manager/Scientist in the Life Sciences Solutions Group; Thermo Fisher Scientific

Dr. Horacio Gasquet (PhD Physics, UT-Austin) - Staff Engineer/Integration Technical Lead; Novati Technologies
