Our July Professional Development Seminar will focus on the academic job search, and characteristics of competitive applications.  We'll have hiring committee faculty members (from both UT and Texas State) on hand to discuss CVs, research statements, cover letters and more.  Panelists will include:

Dr. Laura Colgin, Assistant Professor, Department of Neuroscience, UT-Austin; Dr. Shannon Weigum, Assistant Professor, Department of Biology, Texas State University.

Pizza and drinks will be served, as usual.  This session can be used towards RCR certification.
