The Texas Institute for Discovery Education in Science (TIDES) will be hosting the Regional Science Olympiad Tournament for middle and high school students on March 28, 2015.
8:15am-3:30pm: Over 450 middle and high schoolers will compete in various STEM-related events throughout the day.
5:30pm: Awards ceremonies will begin approximately at 5:30 in BUR 106. Students will receive medals for placing in different events and the top teams will receive trophies.
The UT-Austin Regional Science Olympiad Tournament is happily accepting volunteers to assist with events on the day of the tournament. Please contact the Tournament Director, Dr. Greg Palmer (gpalme@austin.utexas.edu), if you are interested in volunteering.
