The University of Texas at Austin’s Center for Infectious Disease will be holding its first symposium this winter, featuring the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, Dr. Anthony Fauci, as the John LaMontagne Lecture Speaker.
Dr. Anthony Fauci will deliver his lecture entitled The Ebola Outbreak: A Perfect Storm, at the University of Texas Touchdown Club in Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. The event will open with a brief introduction by Dr. Marvin Whiteley, the Center for Infectious Disease’s director. The symposium begins at 12 noon and will conclude at 2 p.m. with a short reception to follow. The event is free. However, space is limited and an RSVP is required.
