The Freeman Initiative at The University of Texas at Austin offers students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents an opportunity to apply to receive a stipend for taking part in an internship, whether through a program or self-arranged, in one of many South and Southeast Asian countries. This info session is geared specifically toward students in the College of Natural Sciences, covering general information on the Freeman Initiative (and other funding opportunities), how to apply, its requirements and other details. The various internship programs available to students, program dates, and other relevant information will also be discussed.
