I am interested in understanding the spatial distribution of populations and incorporating this understanding in conservation and management of biodiversity.  My research is not restricted to any particular taxa or region but I have mainly worked with terrestrial birds and marine invertebrates in Mexico and the Pacific coast. I have used field studies and large data analysis as approaches to tackle my research questions.
