Research Interests

Crystal's research interests center on how discrimination relates to academic (e.g., achievement) and health (e.g., sleep, stress) disparities across adolescence and young adulthood. Specifically, her research uses a strengths-based approach to identify protective factors that can best support minoritized students’ development and life course trajectories.
