Nasiha Muna is a Business Analyst at The University of Texas at Austin, where she serves as a content manager and faculty coordinator for the Office of Quest Learning and Assessment in the College of Natural Sciences. She earned her B.S. in Biological Sciences and Mathematics and M.S. in Mathematics, both from The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH).
For four years, she was an Instructor of Mathematics at Alabama A&M University, where she taught various undergraduate mathematics courses, served as a scheduling manager, advised mathematics majors, and supervised the textbook committee before joining UT Austin. She also taught as an adjunct Lecturer of Mathematics at UAH and completed research projects for The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, Georgia.
Nasiha is the author of seven technical publications and one novel, A Rift That Lies Between Us, which won the Literary Titan Silver Book Award in 2020.
