My research improves my computational skills and bioinformatics self-efficiency and prepares me for the "big data" era of modern biology.

Specifically, my project focuses on the integration of transcriptome and metabolome reprogramming in salinity stress response in diatoms, a monophyletic group of eukaryotic-single-celled heterokont algae.
